His marriage with Anna was dissolved ± 1571.

Prins Willem is also called 'Willem the Sillence' and 'Father of our Country' he was a German Prins from a Lutheran family and he was Catholic raised at the court of Maria van Hongarije.His possessions grow by inheritance and marriage by inheritance he also became the Prins van Oranje. He was a favourite of the Emperor and in 1599 he became Stadtholder of Holland, Zeeland and Utrecht. Later he became the leader of the nobility revolt and a advocate of toleration and freedom of beliefs.When he turned to Protestantism he was excommunicated by Filips II and became outlawed, in 1582 he survived an assessment on his live in Antwerpen but in june 1584 he was shoot to death in Delft.

Willen van Oranje was maried four times: the first time on 08-07-1551 in Buren with Anna Countess van Buren, they had three children.
His third mariage was 24-04-1575 in Brielle with
Charlotte de Bourbon-Montpensier, they had six children.
His fourth mariage was 12-04-1583 in Antwerpen with
Louise Coligny, they had one child Prins Frederik Hendrik, he was the successor of his half-brother Prins Maurits.

Adriaen was in 1565 churchmaster and in 1588 Caegerman.

He lived from 1543- 1561 on several adresses in the Westerstraat and owned a rope-walk at the Haagweg. The name of this street changed later in De Laantjes, these days it is called Nieuwe Laantjes.

Adriaen is registred in the deptbook of Rotterdam

From 1569-1581 Hessische officemanof a count , bailiff and steward of the estate Itter.

On 20-05-1581 he is registred as counsiller and head of the school in Korbach.

In 1567 he is citizen of Korbach and Scholarch af Gymnasium Korbach.

Hij owned a house at the Stechebahn in Korbach ( mentioned 1584/85)

When they breaked down a part of the Kontzechen chemist in 1820 in Korbach a stone of a chimney was found. This stone had the names of Steffan Schotten and Margarethe Kortaus and the coats of arms of both familys on them with the year 1578.

Steffan was buried next to his first wife in 1594.
