After the death of her uncle Hendrik Raspe, Sophia considers herself as his legal heir, and maintains personally and extremely vigorous here rights to the inheritance, against the three cousins who also claim the inherenty and the archbishop of Mainz;

She named herself landgravin and also 'Herrin van Thüringen, Herrin van Hessen, widow duches of Brabant'.

initially she works together with one of the cousins (Hendrik van Meissen) wich she appoints to tutor of her sons, but she refuses to lay herself down at the treaty of Ottstadt (1254), where he obtains Thüringen but the rights of her son will continue to rest until the child ' puer Hassia' will be an adult .

Zij strijdt daarna jarenlang tegen Meissen en de aartsbisschop van Mainz die niet slecht militair, maar ook met excommunicatie en interdict tegen haar optreedt.

After his father carried out country refitting in 1265 he acquired Thüringen and the palts Saksen. His brother Diederik got country Landsberg and Osterland, whereas the father himself preserved Meißen and Neder-Lausitz.

After an initial happy marriage, Albrecht started a relation with Cunigonde van Eisenberg, on which Margaretha left him, the sons Frederik and Diezmann were taken care of by Albrechts brother Diederik van Landsberg, and his son Hendrik disappeared in Silezië.

Albrecht finally maried Cunigonde in 1274 and let the emperor legalise their son Apitz.

When Albrecht wanted to leaveThüringen to Apitz, his sons from the first marriage started a fight against their father. Albrecht even caught Frederik , but he continued the fight after he was released.

In that time (1284) Diederik van Landberg also died, which left behind a son, named Frederik Tuta.

In 1288 then Albrechts father died, Hendrik III, as a result of which Albrecht became mark earl of Meißen, and Frederik Tuta inherited Neder-Lausitz, wich he already lost the same year to Diezmann.

In 1288 Frederik I captured his father Albrecht and did not release him until Albrecht promised to resigned a large share of his areas. What then still remained of Meißen Albrecht sold to Frederik Tuta.

Because he needed money Albrecht finally had to sell Thüringen in 1293 to Adolf van Nassau.

After the death of Cunigonde van Eisenberg Albrecht married with Elisabeth of Arnsaugk, and she could bring some only alignment between father and son

Hendrik founded the Gasthouse of Geel about 1270, he than was Lord of Geel. It was brought under patronage of O.L. Vrouw and the Saint Dimpna. His first gifts where enough to support three brothers and five sisters and the poor sick. In 1286 Willem van Hennegouw, then bishop of Kamerrijk, approve to this foundation and also give the brothers and sisters statute.

Jan van Immerseel also would have build a castle in ter Haga, Haga, Selsaete. After the raid of Maarten van Rossem's in 1542; they called it "Het Verbrande Hof" (Bron ???).

In 1296 heer Jan van Lijere,becomes knight, mentiond as the one who held the hof van Lijere tot Santhoven, son of Arnold van Liere. (Bron J.B. Stockmans pag.309/310/311/318.).
